The system requirements for installing Geeklog 1.8.2 and later are as follows:

Web server - one of the following
1. Apache Web Server
2. Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server)
3. Zeus
PHP 5.2.0 or higher
Database server - one of the following
1. MySQL 4.1.2 or higher (MySQL 5 recommended)
2. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later
3. Postgresql 7 or later
The ability to create a new database or to have access to an existing one
