Content / Functionality

This block lists all the Topics that are visible for the current user. It also features a "Home" link on the top.

The two numbers behind each topic represent the number of stories currently available under that topic (first number) and the number of story submissions currently waiting in the story submission queue for that topic (second number).

Customizing

The order of the topics can be changed in the settings for the individual topic. Other options are available in the Configuration Admin panel under Configuration > Geeklog > Blocks > Topics Block:

  • switch between alphabetical sorting and sort by number
  • show or hide the story count
  • show or hide the story submission count
  • show or hide the "Home" link

The name of the Topics Block can be changed in the blocks settings.
