Contents
This block shows different sections that list new content on the site. The standard sections are Stories, Comments, and Trackbacks. Plugins may add sections to the What's New block in order to provide the latest additions to those custom sections of the site as well. For example, the Links plugin that ships with Geeklog will add a section for new links to the block.
Customizing
Each section of the What's New block will display the latest additions for a length of time as determined by the settings in either Geeklog's Configuration (for stories, comments, and trackbacks) or the plugin's Configuration (for plugin entries).
The different sections can be switched on and off in the respective configuration.
