Q: isn't this page just for information for #geeklog channel on irc.freenode.net? or what as that's what i made from it
A: No this "channel" refers to an idea similar to the PEAR package manager channels. This is part of the Geeklog 2 development effort. Maybe a new/different page would be a good choice to put information about Geeklog's IRC channel.
