Installation - System Requirements
The system requirements for installing Geeklog 1.8.0 and later are as follows:
- Web server - one of the following
- Apache Web Server
- Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server)
- Zeus
- PHP 5.2.0
- Database server - one of the following
- MySQL 3.23.2 or higher, preferably at least 4.x or later
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later
- Postgresql 7 or later
- The ability to create a new database or to have access to an existing one
